On October 25, 2011, Andrew Hussie updated his long awaited End Of Act 5 animation. Knowing the traffic it would bring in would crash his server, he decided to host it on newgrounds. The flash was up no longer than three minutes before all of newgrounds crashed. For over three hours. How much traffic newgrounds can handle, I can't say, but Hussie estimates that he has over 2 million readers that frequent his page. With 2 million people all trying to view the same thing on one website, I'm amazed the computers at newgrounds' headquarters didn't explode. Seeing as this solution would not work, Hussie uploaded the flash files to Megaupload, a file sharing site. A couple of hours later, megaupload was also suffering from technical difficulties.
If you believe the internet can't be destroyed, Andrew has now proved us wrong. With 2mil rabid fans at his command, he can fuck your server up.

But remember this is world wide. there are over 7 billion people on this earth, so 2 mil is a rather small percentage... We're still pretty strong when it comes to destroying websites though.
